Forum Organization
Hi Mods and Admins.
So for years I've been using forums as a way to communicate with other fans around the world whether it ranges from anime forums to korean/chinese/japanese pop music forums and have seen how organized they are.
I don't know where this topic belongs, so if it doesn't belongs here please move it to its appropriate section.
Anyways, I would like to suggest some stuff that would probably lighten this forum up a bit if you don't mind.
You don't have to do as i suggest if u don't want to.
one, a chatbox would be very nice
two, in the fan section, we should categorize our work by inserting what type of work it is in [brackets]. e.g. if it is a ongoing fanfiction- [ONGOING] (insert title here) in the title of topic section. If it is a poem, one-shot, discontinued, or whatnot it should be labeled inside the brackets as well. And we should have like a History folder for all finished fanfics, etc.
three, it would be nice to start in the general section a welcome/introduction section where all of us fans can post new topics and introduce ourselves.
fourth, i think there should be a limit to how minimum our post texts should be. usually in other forums it's 10 words minimum excluding internet acronyms (LOL, ROTFL, etc.) and smileys. That way we can preventing from spamming.

sorry bunny but the Chatbox is a no-go - we tried to use it long ago but it distorts the forum skin,unless the new skin i am making works with it,it has to remain off.

I don't think it's a big issue if someone wants to just say LOL with a smiley. If someone is "spamming", then they'll get banned I'm sure.
This is a pretty laid back forum. If it starts to turn into a big old PITA, then I won't come back..

and wouldn't a text post limit,contradict you wanting ppl to post FULL pages of fics here anyway???
which imo,its easier just to click their AO3 links than having people go out of their busy time to repost the same thing over again...

I think bunny means a minimum limit. And spamming as in just going around and putting one-word posts places to gain post counts.

ahhh with that said,so like a no double posting rule in here...ugh i hated that in some of the forums i was on,as i would forget to edit my post and end up double posting by accident,then came the reprimand from the mods...but that was in my earlier days and i know better now.

Well, you know your life is sad, when you have to rely on a numerical post count on a forum. How is that even a thing.

It has to do with ranking I think? Idk. I think one of the ways is... see under our names where it has the star rating? For non-admins there's a ranking system.osy people are on second tier 'human.' I think the highest tier I have is Ancient? Or archangel? Or something..

I respect Bunny's suggestions but I would find a 10 word limit confining. Sometimes I just want to say LOL or post a smiley.
