What do you want?

There is never enough Quinlan fan fiction it seems. Even tho we have some great writers working night and day. There seems to never be a good fic around when you need it.

So my question is. What do you want in a Quinlan fan fiction. This includes both borns.
Q getting hot and heavy with a lucky someone?  What would want this lucky some on to be like? Or are you more interested in his past? His life as a gladiator. Hitting brothels. Enjoying the cheer of the crowd. Maybe back as a solider or a family man?

That is what this topic is here for. To hear your ideas on what you would like to read in a Quinlan fan fic.

PETITION FOR MORE DARK HAIRED LADY FANFICTION OTHER THAN MY OWN SPAWNS.

For real, though... I think the best way for me to word it would be to say that I just really enjoy it when people remember that the character they are dealing with is nearly two thousand years old. He has had to rely on himself for much of that time. The one time he opened and let himself feel anything for somebody else he was punished severely.

Furthermore, he has pretty much seen it all. Jerks, criminals, dirty-minded freaks, and those with seemingly pure hearts. He has at least a thousand years worth of experience in human nature. Not much is going to surprise him at the time the books occur.

All that being said, he isn't completely made of stone- he's half human, and I feel like what brings him out of that protective shell of his is that yearning, the need to connect.

And I'm rambling.

Also... I'd like to add that as the current Queen Mean, we have a forum for discussions re: nsfw, in the event that we find ourselves with younger members or those who do not want to discuss such topics.

This topic is about what readers would want in a Quinlan fan fic, but if you could. When you can. Could you place that link in. So it could be easier for us to find.

I need to post some info in welcome section for new people coming in. But I decided that if people wanted to post explicit content that might be inappropriate for some viewers, I should make a forum just for that. And to weed out underage people or whatever, there needs to be a request for special permission to view the forum.

So it's locked out of sight unless you have those permissions,

or any straight pairings will do..i just want to see him in that hidden vulnerable state we know he possesses...to me there is something special when a character so dark can feel the same urges we humans face on a regular basis you know...i guess thats why i like monster pairings so much.

I don't mind Gus/Q as much as I thought. But I still prefer Q as the brother /uncle figure to Gus. Where the kiddo reaches him on that level where Q actually cares about a human among the hundreds he's trained thoughout his life.

Maybe I'll ship him with DoppleQ next season! Hmm...

I'm not really in to the Gus/Quinlan paring. I like the idea that Gus would be more like a little brother to Q.

honestly i do see doppelQ as the father figure to gus,more than the yaoi pairing...but can't help think of them out of a fresh shower,both shirtless comparing body tonage!!!

I don't need anything explicit, though. Some nice bonding would suffice. Actually ANYTHING involving those two would be great.

I have half a dozent ideas of some short fics and also started writing one of them down but I'm not sure whether it will ever be finished.
Plus I would need a beta because I'm not a native speaker and always so unsure when I write something other than a rant or a simple comment on tumblr.
