Still scratching my head over that scene with the Ancients.

Like... why the b!tch slapping? I just don't get it. They don't need to terrify the humans, remind them what they're up against - especially not Abe. And I'd be hard pressed to believe that they would actually do such a thing to begin with. Part of their M.O. is that they are so lax/confident because they see every other living creature on this planet as beneath them. Proud creatures. Arguably they don't even see The Master's intent to end them till it's too late.  Plus, don't you think that after however-many centuries all the fun of feeding would be kindof depleted? Just feed mechanically like I imagined jn my head, dammit.

...Then again, I realize that would not be theatrical enough. It's the little things, guys.

Also, to the Ancient i think i saw drinking from the guy's chest wall/abd. Uhh.. Whatchu doin', bud? What blood vessel are you trying to access? Just drink from the femoral/carotid like your brothers.

I didn't think Vaun's makeup was too bad on second watch.

Also, for all the weirdness (OOC... but it's a different media and I'm aware that things change...) that's happening in that scene, the Ancients look so much better than the Master. Like.  The initial scene with the master has him looking like he's wearing long-johns a size too large. The weathered, leathery texture of Ancient skin is better imo.

ok they don't want the guy turning but they could have just had Vaun shoot the guy in the head and thats it.....more room for mchattie acting!

btw - disappoint on the constant pausing as he was "listening" to his masters..but i guess its cuz they were telling at him all at once XD.

his makeup is terrible in the sense that he looks really weird here,like somewhat unrecognizable to people who are used to seeing his face the first time around.

i dunno his lips looked puffy in some shots,the regular thinness in the others.

Yeah, could have made him interpret but be more sly about it. A huge part of the vamp life is their psychic connection. Eye contact not needed. Turning his head their way- not needed. This is their life- how they communicate. It's second nature to listen in. I feel kindof nitpicky saying it, but one of the things I like about different fandoms I'm a part of is the non-human component. And now I'm rambling...

I will say that I love the early creation of Fet/Abe. Fet's idolizing, his trust in Abe.

Another nitpick, sorry if I'm getting annoying redundant... psst why is there a light shining on the desk in a room full of blind people?

I also pointed out that young Abe, should have had an accent on Twitter. Grandmama is nattering away with her thick accent and he's all like "Yo Grammy, spin me some hot topics."
